HYDRAYTION ANIMATION

CHALLENGE
A catering service based in Hampshire approached me to create an engaging and educational animation designed to support Hydration Week and teach primary school children the importance of staying hydrated and ways to maintain hydration. The animation will be shared across their social media platforms and provided to local schools for use in assemblies.
SOLUTION
I started by sketching out a storyboard and quickly recognised that using young voiceovers would be key to making the animation engaging and relatable for primary school children. Luckily, my nephew and a friend’s daughter were able to provide the voices for the boy and girl characters, helping bring them to life.
I animated the HC3S logo for the intro and added a fun, upbeat soundtrack to boost energy. The children's friendly voices added charm, while the simple, playful animation with cartoon-style visuals helped keep young viewers engaged and made the hydration message easy to understand.
